A company’s environment is in steady motion. That is how opportunities and risk arise which may determine a
company’s success or failure in the short-, medium- or long-term. The entrepreneur must foresee and perceive
these changes and have them integrate into the corporate development process. Thus there is a need to look at
corporate development not as an ad hoc exercise but as a process to be managed continuously.

with an increasing internationalisation of the business community holds true also for long established and

In order to successfully implement corporate planning with its thought- and business models, its strategies and action programs it is imperative that management and eventually owners be fully committed, that a salient communication process be installed in the company and that the employees be convincingly involved. The necessity of continuous alignments must be understood and bought into within the company.
The implementation of corporate planning will be linked to a controlling system with early warning and real time information, encompassing all important success parameters distilled from the planning process. In such an iterative process the latest findings flow back into the development process.
